At Belching Barista, every bean is roasted to order to ensure you're getting the freshest cup possible! Because our coffee is freshly roasted, we have a unique shipping policy to match our unique brews. Here's everything you need to know about how we get our freshly roasted beans from our roaster to your doorstep.

Processing Your Order

Freshness First:

  • Roasting Schedule: We roast our coffee after you order to ensure peak freshness. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to prepare and roast your coffee before it ships. We call this our "grace period"—a small wait for a big taste!
  • Order Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirming your order as soon as you’ve completed your purchase. Another email will follow once your coffee is roasted, packed, and handed over to the courier.

Shipping Methods and Timing

From Us to You:

  • Standard Shipping: Once roasted, your coffee ships via standard shipping and should arrive within 3-7 business days, depending on your location relative to our roastery in Waterford, ON.
  • Expedited Shipping: Need your coffee faster? We offer expedited shipping options at an additional cost. Expedited orders still respect our roasting grace period before leaving our doors.

Shipping Costs

Simple and Straightforward:

  • Flat Rate: We offer a flat rate for standard shipping within Canada. Rates for international shipping vary based on destination.
  • Free Shipping: Orders over a certain amount qualify for free standard shipping within Canada. Check our website for current promotions and details.

International Orders

Global Beans:

  • We ship internationally! However, please be aware that shipping times and costs can vary significantly based on the destination. Customs fees, import taxes, and other local charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tracking Your Order

Follow Your Beans:

  • Once your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow your coffee’s journey from our roastery to your doorstep. It’s like tracking a treasure chest filled with gold, but better because it’s coffee!
